West is Using Ukraine to Fuel Conflicts in Africa, Beninese Geopolitical Analyst Says
The West is using Kiev as an "instrument" to counter Russia—and much more, Modeste Dossou told Sputnik Africa.
"The powers behind Ukraine are using it everywhere to do their dirty work. Their backers aim to bring down any country attempting to develop and grow using systems that don't align with the Western order," the expert noted.
While Sudan has announced the elimination of Ukrainian mercenaries fighting alongside the rebel Rapid Support Forces, the same scenario is also unfolding in the Sahel, he pointed out.
The speaker also accused Western media of "downplaying" the role of mercenaries in destabilizing certain countries.
