South Africa's Paramount 'Will Pursue All Legal Avenues in Lithuania & Internationally to Protect Rights'
"On inspection of Aurida [Engineering Company]'s website we notice a number of other images of products that appear to be Paramount products being presented as theirs," the South African aerospace and defense group said in a statement provided to Sputnik Africa.
Paramount stated that its battle-proven, advanced armored vehicles (4x4, 6x6, and 8x8) are in high demand, especially in Europe, including Lithuania.
Paranount's unique portable production model facilitates technology transfer, job creation, skills development, and local industrial capacity building, providing both operational independence and lasting socio-economic benefits, they added.
"We remain committed to legitimate industrial cooperation and technology transfer that complies with legal and export-control regimes. Paramount will vigorously defend its IP wherever unauthorised copying or misappropriation is suspected."
