Namibia Sends 500 Soldiers to Fight Etosha Blaze

A massive wildfire has swept through a third of Etosha National Park, one of Africa’s largest reserves and a sanctuary for the endangered black rhino.

Burning since September 22, the blaze has killed at least nine antelopes and left severe ecological damage, according to local authorities.

‍ It likely started from charcoal production on nearby farms, officials said.
