UN Effectiveness Hinges on Inclusive, Equitable Multilateralism, Côte d'Ivoire FM Tells UNGA
"It is more urgent than ever to restore the UN's effectiveness based on inclusive and equitable multilateralism," Kacou Houadja Leon Adom said, noting that the strengthening of the UN is the only way to address global challenges.
Among the challenges cited were climate change, terrorism, the scarcity of development funding, information warfare, and the regulation of artificial intelligence.
Furthermore, Yamoussoukro calls for a new global ambition for youth, based on:
🟠 Recognizing youth as a full political actor;
🟠 The creation of an international fund dedicated to youth employment and integration;
🟠 The establishment of a global youth performance index;
🟠 The institutionalization of intergenerational governance as a requirement for democratic justice.
