Russian Forces Take Control of Two Settlements in DPR & One in Dnepropetrovsk Region, MoD Says
These are the settlements of Derilovo, Maiskoye and Stepovoye, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
In recent months, the Russian armed forces have been advancing at an increasing pace in the Donbass region and beyond, liberating one settlement after another.
The Russian army's offensive in the Dnepropetrovsk region of Ukraine is part of efforts to create a buffer zone to ensure the security of Russian regions, according to the Kremlin.
