🟠Madagascar authorities have imposed a curfew in the country's capital after protests against frequent power outages and water shortages turned violent, local media reported;

🟠The Seychelles is holding presidential and parliamentary elections running from Thursday to Saturday;

🟠Zambia's economy grew by 5.2% in the second quarter of 2025, compared with 1.9% recorded in the same period last year, due to strong performance in agriculture, the country's statistical agency said;

🟠Zimbabwe recorded a 290% increase in food production in one year, the Zimbabwe Livelihoods Assessment Committee revealed in a report;
