'Exploitation of Sudanese Chaos' Aims to Conceal the West's Role in Ukraine Conflict, Says Burkinabe Political Analyst
Reports of Azerbaijani arms manufacturers supplying weapons to Ukraine via Sudanese territory reflect this strategy, Lianhoué Imhotep Bayala told Sputnik Africa.
"All countries complicit in this transit demonstrate they have never been allies of peace or stood by international law," he insisted.
According to him, the "architects of violence in Libya" have now "shifted the focus" to Sudan, exploiting the chaos they created.
Bayala emphasized that countries like Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger "suffer from weapons recklessly poured into Ukraine, which end up in the Sahel through these routes."
He also warned of a scenario where these weapons "fall into the hands of RSF rebels." If this happens, the Sudanese conflict "will take an extremely serious and uncontrollable turn."
