Nuclear Energy, Technology & Manufacturing Are Promising Areas for Nigeria-Russia Cooperation: FM
Nigeria and Russia are members of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum, Nigerian Foreign Minister Yusuf Maitama Tuggar emphasized in an interview with Sputnik. He added that the Nigerian side expects expanded cooperation with Russia, including in this area.
In February, Tuggar told Sputnik that his country was discussing potential cooperation with Russia in nuclear energy and a number of other areas, such as mining.
The Russian state corporation Rosatom is in dialogue with more than 20 African countries on areas such as the construction of large and small nuclear power plants, nuclear science and technology centers, and the development of uranium deposits.
