"It is influenced by neoliberal ideology," Anuradha Chenoy, retired Professor of the Center for Russian and Central Asian Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University, told Sputnik.

Countries like Brazil, India, and South Africa were awaiting the restructuring of the organization; however, changes never happened, Chenoy stated.

"The figure of ten times more than Africa is disappointing because it shows their bias and that their priorities are more for war than development," she noted, commenting on FM Lavrov's statement on the WB.
