Russian Aircraft Engines Are One of Country's Competitive Advantages, Putin Says
The Russian PD-14 aircraft engine is superior to world standards — only four countries in the world, including Russia, produce engines similar to the PD-14, the president pointed out.
Moreover, Russia fully meets the needs of the Russian Armed Forces in combat aviation and supplies equipment for export, he stressed at a meeting with leaders of political party factions in the State Duma.
Russian has saved the industry of combat aviation production, restored it, and made many steps forward, Putin noted, adding that the country has also achieved success in domestic engine building.
