Russia Records Lowest Unemployment Rate in the G20
At the end of Q2, Russia's unemployment rate was just 2.2%, a slight decrease from March, according to an analysis of national statistical data by Sputnik.
Unemployment trends among other G20 members:
In Mexico, unemployment has grown to 2.7%
In Japan, unemployment remained steady at 2.5%
In South Korea, unemployment slightly dropped to 2.6%
South Africa remained the only country with double-digit unemployment, at 33.2%
In Turkey, unemployment has grown to 8.4%
On the flip side, India (-2.3%) and Brazil (-1.2%) saw notable decline in unemployment.
