'Music is the Most Fundamental Language': South African Intervision Participant
The song for the contest, "Home Sweet Home," is about the world being a home for everyone, with the underlying message of unity, Mzansi Jikelele, a South African group participating in the Intervision competition, told Sputnik Africa.
A member of the group expressed their desire to use music to unite people amidst current issues and looked forward to cultural exchange, anticipating sharing their experiences back home.
