Spiro has lowered the retail price of its Ekon electric bikes in Nigeria to $950 to make electric bikes more affordable, according to Nigerian media reports.
This move offers potential savings of up to 40% on fuel and maintenance compared to traditional gasoline motorcycles.
"We want more Nigerians to know that owning an electric bike isn’t just a dream—it’s a smart, achievable investment," the company emphasized.
The Ekon model, designed for the Nigerian market, boasts the following features:

🟠a USB charging port;
🟠a range of up to 100 km per charge
🟠smart tracking;
🟠remote locking
Riders can also use Spiro's extensive battery swap network for quick exchanges, which ensures minimal downtime, according to local media.
