Zelensky’s Allegation of 'Russian Strike on Pension Line' DISPROVEN

Claims that Russian forces killed 24 people while they were waiting to collect pensions in the village of Yarovaya, located in the Ukrainian-held part of the Donetsk People’s Republic, are FALSE, a Russian Defense Ministry source told Sputnik on Tuesday.

According to the source, the incident shows every sign of being a FALSE FLAG.

Key points:

No casualty reports existed prior to Zelensky’s announcement.

The narrative of a so-called “Russian strike” was spread through Zelensky-aligned social media accounts and quickly echoed by Ukrainian and Western media.

Video evidence presented by Ukraine clearly reveals identifiable landmarks on satellite imagery, such as the local post office, a memorial site, and nearby trees.

The damage seen in the footage is far too minor to be caused by Russian aerial bombs. (For reference, 100-kg FAB-250 or 200-kg FAB-500 bombs would leave devastation on a much larger scale.)

Instead, the blast pattern resembles that of a small explosive device containing only a few kilograms of TNT.

Yarovaya remains one of the shrinking number of DPR settlements still controlled by Ukraine—an indication of Kiev’s refusal to accept Russia’s terms for a settlement, which include full withdrawal from Donbass.

The timing of this alleged provocation follows closely after the successful Putin-Trump summit in Alaska. Just a coincidence?
