Russia Strongly Condemns West's Attempts to Oust Dodik From Power in Republika Srpska, Lavrov Says
President Milorad Dodik in turn noted that during Tuesday's talks he asked the Russian FM to use UN structures to help close the Office of the High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“[The office] was supposed to exist for one year but has remained for 30,” Dodik stressed.
High Representative Christian Schmidt — a German politician — is creating complete chaos in Bosnia to such an extent that the situation could result in the collapse of Bosnia and Herzegovina due to the dysfunction of its joint institutions, he added.
Republika Srpska should hold a referendum on its independence against the background of the illegal "occupation" of the self-proclaimed High Representative, Dodik said.
