Torrential rains have caused widespread flooding in Mexico, affecting communities in Nuevo León and Querétaro.

In Nuevo Leon, Civil Protection responded to 53 stranded cars, 18 short circuits, eight fallen trees, and two rock slides.

In Queretaro, the Centenario dam in Tequisquiapan overflowed after reaching 113.99% of its capacity, flooding nearby communities. At least 14 homes were damaged in San Nicolás, and water levels near the town hall rose over one meter. A state of emergency has been declared.
