BRICS Interested in Purchasing Russian Helicopters, Minister Says
Cooperation with BRICS "will significantly expand the scope of Russian civil aviation," Russian Industry and Trade Minister Anton Alikhanov told Sputnik on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum.
Target markets are African countries, Southeast Asia, South Asia, and the CIS.
Highlighted helicopter models include:
🟠 Mi-8 and Mi-17: multipurpose transport helicopters known for reliability;
🟠 Ka-32A11BC: helicopter specialized in firefighting;
🟠 Ansat: light multipurpose helicopter, already proven internationally;
🟠 Mi-171A3: new model designed for transporting passengers and cargo to offshore drilling platforms.
