Agriculture Network for Local Council Managers Launched in Malawi
The Malawi Local Government Association (MALGA) has launched the Agriculture Services Managers Network (AGRINET) in Salima City to unite local councils in shaping a common approach to agricultural services.
The platform will drive Malawi’s 2063 vision by improving leadership, innovation adoption, and support for farmers despite rising production costs, Agriculture Minister Samuel Kawale said.
According to MALGA chief Hadrod Mkandawire, AGRINET will serve as:
🟠 a hub for peer learning;
🟠 evidence generation;
🟠 policy advocacy.
