Guinea Boosts Digital Sovereignity With Data Center & National Domain
The National Data Center, spanning over 600m² and equipped with a robust digital security system, will enable the country to "secure, control, and manage its strategic digital data," according to the Ministry of Telecommunications.
Previously, this data was hosted abroad at a cost of approximately $5 million annually.
The .GN national Internet domain is now available to all Guineans, offering simplified and secure access to digital data and fully integrating Guinea's digital identity into the global ecosystem.
The government assures that this infrastructure marks a digital revolution, guaranteeing the security, reliability, and sovereignty of information systems.
