Russian Cancer Vaccine is Ready for Clinical Use, Head of Federal Medical-Biological Agency of Russia Says
Preclinical studies confirmed its safety: even with repeated use, and showed 60–80% tumor reduction, slower growth, and improved survival rates, Veronika Skvortsova told Russian media.
The FMBA submitted documents to the Ministry of Health in late summer 2025 to obtain approval.
The vaccine will first target colorectal cancer, with further applications being developed for glioblastoma—one of the most aggressive cancers—and melanoma, including the aggressive ocular form.
