Mzansi Jikelele is a dynamic group made up of five unique artists who blend diverse genres and voices into one powerful performance.
More than music: the group embodies South Africa’s “rainbow nation”—a true celebration of unity, culture, and diversity, the contest's press service told Sputnik.
Meet its artists:
🟠Tshepo Nkadimeng – the “South African Stevie Wonder” with a gospel voice full of hope and faith;
🟠Rene Kruger – a musician and mentor using art and mission work to uplift youth;
🟠Nonhlanhla Dube – acclaimed Afro-pop singer, a regular at major national events and theater shows;
🟠Olutheren Smith – hailed as a “voice of her generation,” fusing gospel and mainstream music;
🟠Lady Doo – five-time national music award winner, with global hits and her album featured on Times Square’s Billboard.
