Namibia to Bridge Rural Gaps in Water, Roads, and Digital Access, Says Prime Minister
The government is accelerating its commitment to addressing critical rural development challenges in order to build a more inclusive nation, announced Elijah Ngurate.
Ngurare acknowledged that many rural households still lack basic services decades after independence. He emphasized the government's resolve to expand potable water supply, rural roads, and electricity to underserved areas.
The prime minister also outlined plans to bridge the digital divide, noting that new information and communication technology towers have recently been launched to extend internet coverage.
Ngurare urged communities to collaborate with the government to transform current challenges into opportunities for future generations.
