Mozambique is the second African country and the first in the Southern Hemisphere to sign a memorandum of understanding with St. Petersburg Exchange, Igor Artemyev, the president of the trading platform, stated.
"Today, the task of resuming economic cooperation with Mozambique, as it was in the Soviet years, has been set at the state level. Our partnership will become an important component of this process," he said.
Artemyev also invited the Mozambique Commodity Exchange to join the declaration on creating the International Association of Commodity and Futures Exchanges.
