Eastern Economic Forum 'Has Rightfully Earned High Authority': Putin
According to the Russian president, the forum:
🟠helps to introduce businesses, including foreign ones, to the "unique economic, scientific, technological, and infrastructural potential" of the Russian Far Eastern territories,
🟠promotes the expansion of multifaceted international cooperation.
"The motto of the current forum is also very symbolic: 'The Far East: Cooperation for Peace and Prosperity,'" the Russian president's greeting telegram said.
With the global economy shifting to the Asia-Pacific, new opportunities arise for mutually beneficial ties within the region, both bilaterally and through organizations like the SCO and BRICS, according to Putin.
"Russia is ready for constructive dialogue with all interested partners and intends to actively participate in collective efforts to build a fair system of international relations in the Asia-Pacific region based on genuine equality and respect for each other’s legitimate interests."
