Air Traffic on the Rise in Mali
The results for the first six months of the year were presented by the CEO of Aéroports du Mali, Colonel Lassina Togola.
🟠 The number of travelers increased by 15.03%, reaching 466,128 passengers;
🟠 Mail transport jumped by 51.45%;
🟠Goods transport increased slightly to 4,356,599 kg;
🟠 However, the number of takeoffs and landings decreased by 11.7%.

Air traffic in Mali faces challenges due to ongoing military operations against jihadist groups. Restoring security has been a key goal of the military government, that took power in the country in 2021.
