Nigeria increased oil production by 10% to 1.71 million barrels per day last July compared to July last year, local media reported, citing the Nigerian Petroleum Refining Regulatory Commission.From June to July of this year alone, the level of oil production in Nigeria rose by more than 800,000 barrels. The 2025 budget sets a target of 2 million barrels per day, with calculations based on a price of $75 per barrel. The scale of oil theft from fields, pipelines and terminals, which involves large regional and international criminal groups, has reportedly significantly decreased.
