"I have no military experience. I haven't been in the Polish army, and I have no military experience. My only experience is in Ukraine. I have very short training, only three weeks of training," a former Ukrainian mercenary from Poland, Krzysztof Flaczek, who switched sides to Russia, told Sputnik.

Flaczek now serves in the Maxim Kryvonos Battalion, a unit composed of former Ukrainian soldiers who have formed a liberation movement and are fighting against the Ukrainian authorities.

The Russian Defense Ministry has repeatedly stated that the Kiev regime uses foreign mercenaries as "cannon fodder," and Russian troops will continue to eliminate them across Ukraine.
