Russian security forces detained a Kiev agent who planned to equip a navigation module for Ukrainian drones near the military airfield in the city of Engels, the Russian FSB reports
The agent, a 35-year-old resident of the Russian city of Volgograd, had lived in Ukraine's Lvov region from 2019 to 2022. After failing to register with migration authorities upon the expiration of his temporary residence permit, he was recruited by the Security Service of Ukraine.
🟠In exchange for Ukrainian citizenship, he agreed to travel to Russia to commit sabotage and terrorist acts;
🟠After the training in Kiev, he traveled to Volgograd under the guise of returning home, then proceeded to the Saratov region to carry out his mission;
🟠He was detained at his residence before he could complete the task.
