Namibian President Calls on Entrepreneurs to Boost Domestic and Intra-African Trade
Namibian businesses should leverage regional initiatives and take advantage of opportunities such as the upcoming Intra-African Trade Fair in Algeria, President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah said.
"Cross-regional engagements are opportunities for business people to learn from one another and to understand the demand of the market. Thus, enable them to be focused on their businesses to make a meaningful contribution to the economic development of the country," she stated at the launch of the Ongwediva Annual Trade Fair.
Expanding trade both within Namibia and across Africa is vital to achieving prosperity and fulfilling the goals of the African Continental Free Trade Area, the president stressed.
