Oil supplies via Druzhba pipeline to Hungary stopped for the third time in recent times due to an attack by Ukraine, Hungarian FM says
"Overnight, we received the news that the Druzhba oil pipeline on the Russia-Belarus border was subjected to repeated attacks – for the third time in a short period. Crude oil supplies to Hungary have been halted again! This is another attack on Hungary’s energy security," Péter Szijjártó said.
The previous Ukrainian attack was reported on Monday, August 18. On August 19, oil transit resumed, and Budapest thanked Russia for the quick repair.
