Zimbabwe Stock Exchange Turnover Doubles in First Half of 2025 Compared to Same Period Last Year
The ZSE's bullish trend continued into July, which saw record trading volumes since the launch of the stock exchange's electronic platform.
The growth is attributed to a strategy focused on diversification and new listings, according to Justin Bgoni, the chief executive officer. The Victoria Falls Stock Exchange (VFX), a subsidiary of the ZSE, saw its trading value triple in H1 2025.
Looking ahead, the ZSE is preparing to expand into digitized financial products, including digital commodities and currencies, pending regulatory approval expected early next year, Bgoni told local media.
