The Baltic Fleet’s training ship has made a port call in Dar es Salaam as part of a long-distance voyage with more than 300 naval cadets, Russia’s Defense Ministry said.
“In the port, the Baltic sailors and cadets were welcomed by the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the United Republic of Tanzania and Tanzania’s Minister of Defense and National Service,” the fleet’s press service noted.
The visit marks the vessel’s fifth foreign stop after Equatorial Guinea, Sao Tome and Príncipe, Congo, and South Africa.
