South Africa Hopes Putin–Trump Meeting in Alaska Will Open Way to Peace in Ukraine

“The upcoming talks in Anchorage between the leaders of Russia and the United States are a key event in the search for ways to resolve the crisis in Ukraine. The Republic of South Africa hopes that the meeting in Alaska will open the way to swift negotiations on Ukraine with the participation of all interested parties,” Vincent Magwenya, spokesman for the SA Presidency, told Russian media.
