Sudanese Leader Al-Burhan Vows No Truce in ‘Battle of Dignity’ Against RSF

General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, speaking on the country's Armed Forces’ 100th anniversary, pledged to continue the fight against the rebellion “regardless of the cost.”

Recalling the military’s founding in 1925 and its full Sudanese command in 1954, Al-Burhan hailed the armed forces as guardians of national sovereignty and urged them to carry out their mission without concession.

The RSF, led by Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, has sought to establish a rival administration in western Sudan — a move condemned by the UN as a threat to national unity.
