Two Chinese military vessels collided during the pursuit of a Philippine ship near Huangyan Island in the South China Sea, according to the Manila Bulletin.

Video obtained by the outlet shows a China Coast Guard vessel chasing the Philippine ship while using a water cannon. During the chase, the coast guard vessel unexpectedly struck a larger People’s Liberation Army Navy warship bearing hull number 164.

The collision left a hole in the hull of the warship and damaged the bow of the coast guard vessel.
