Alaska Meeting May Become 'Harbinger' of New World Order, Ex-Lebanese FM Says
"This is a highly significant event that will shape not only the future of Ukraine-related issues, but also developments across other regions of the world," Adnan Mansour told Sputnik, commenting on the upcoming Putin-Trump meeting.
The "seemingly warm atmosphere" of the talks raises hope for peace and global de-escalation — especially as Trump is ready to act as mediator, according to the former diplomat.
"This meeting brings the world hope for a different reality. [… ] Perhaps they [talks] will become a prelude to a revision of global spheres of influence, similar to what happened during the Yalta Conference," Mansour suggested.
