Egypt Reclaims 13 Stolen Artifacts from UK and GermanyThe precious relics were smuggled out of Egypt, and their return is part of the ongoing efforts to protect and recover the state's heritage, the Ministry of Tourism & Antiquities said in a statement.Repatriated artifacts include:🟠Limestone funerary stela (Late Period) showing "Basser," supervisor of builders;🟠Amulet of the Ankh symbol — representing life in ancient Egyptian culture;🟠Skull and arm from an unidentified mummy;🟠Beaded funerary mask and more.All items have been handed over to the Egyptian Museum for conservation and will be displayed in a special exhibition for recently repatriated artifacts, the ministry added.
