So we need to capitalize on that and start really having inward-looking policies where we say, what is it that we can do ourselves to free ourselves from economic domination by the Western powers?" he noted.Prof. Ncwadi highlighted that intra-African trade remains below 20% due to border delays, poor ports, and conflicting regulations. According to the expert, solutions include:Digitizing customs;Investing in transport corridors; Financing small and medium-sized enterprises.
