A "red" aviation risk designation has been issued for the Klyuchevskoy Volcano in Kamchatka, Russia, after another explosion of ash that rose up to 11.5 kilometers.

The ash plume is moving toward the Bering Sea in a northeastern direction.

Klyuchevskoy, one of the most active volcanoes in the world, lies 360 kilometers from Russia's city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and has a height of almost 4,600 meters.
