Tourism to Drive Zimbabwe’s Economic Growth Amid Climate Change & Volatile Prices: Mnangagwa
President Mnangagwa has declared tourism a key GDP contributor for Zimbabwe, alongside mining, agriculture, and manufacturing. This strategy is outlined in the Tourism and Hospitality Industry Policy launched on Monday.
Mnangagwa stressed that this policy aims to transform the tourism sector, driving the nation towards "upper-middle-income status" while ensuring local communities benefit directly.
The policy is aligned with the vision for accelerated, balanced growth, Tourism Minister Barbra Rwodzi emphasized.
