African Innovator Emphasizes Unity and Impact-Driven Business for Renewable Energy Leadership

Oswald Abioseh Dundas, a Sierra Leonean entrepreneur and innovator whose "Water Light Technology" generates electricity from saltwater, believes Africa has the talent and resources to lead the way in renewable energy innovation.

"[African businesses] should be impact-driven instead of profit-driven. Because when you are impact-driven now, and you've solved the problem, the profits will all eventually come," he told Sputnik Africa.

Dundas added that he aims to make his solutions affordable for off-grid and remote communities, thereby tackling energy poverty.
