Zambian Teen Singer Travels to Moscow Through Foundation Program
Elizabeth Tembo's journey was made possible by a family that has financially supported her education for the past three years, as well as by the "Her Voice" Foundation. Tembo also has been taking Russian language lessons.
During her unforgettable visit, Elizabeth:
explored Moscow's historic landmarks and art galleries;
enjoyed horseback riding adventures;
took professional vocal lessons to improve her craft.
The foundation organized her debut performance at the Eastern Cultural Center, where she sang for an audience of 40 people.
Through Tembo's experience, "Her Voice" hopes to develop young talent while showing girls everywhere that big opportunities are within reach.
