Ghana Donates 40 Tonnes of Cocoa Products as Humanitarian Aid to Palestine
On Friday in Accra, President John Mahama presented the premium Ghana-made chocolate and other goods to Palestinian Ambassador Abdul Fattah Ahmed Khalil al-Sattari.
Calling the gesture symbolic, Mahama highlighted cocoa as one of Ghana’s most valued commodities, reflecting national traits of resilience, warmth, and generosity.
He also praised cocoa as a nutrient-rich superfood that boosts immunity, heart health, brain function, and emotional well-being.
Mahama reaffirmed Ghana's support for a two-state solution, urging dialogue and an end to violence.
In response, Ambassador al-Sattari thanked Mahama, expressing the deep gratitude of the people of Gaza and the West Bank, emphasizing the joy the chocolate would bring to them.
