Mass employment of nursing personnel and provision of hospital equipment;
Upward review of professional allowances for Nurses and Midwives;
Creation of a Department of Nursing in Health Ministry;
Consultancy rights for nurses and midwives;
Inclusion in health policymaking bodies.
Over 42,000 nurses left Nigeria in the past three years, according to the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
