Putin Holds Telephone Conversation With Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu: Kremlin
The Russian side confirmed its unwavering position in favor of an exclusively peaceful settlement of the problems and conflicts existing in the Middle East region.
Putin emphasized the importance of:
🟠supporting the unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria,
🟠strengthening Syria's domestic political stability through respect for the legitimate rights and interests of all ethnic and religious groups of the population.
Given the recent escalation of the Iranian-Israeli confrontation, the Russian side expressed its readiness to do everything possible to facilitate the finding of negotiating solutions around the Iranian nuclear program.
The leaders agreed to continue the dialogue on current issues on the international and bilateral agenda.
