Russia's Ruling Party Attaches Great Importance to Interaction With African Political Forces
Almost all parties participating in the Summit of Former Liberation Movements of South Africa (FLMSA) are long-standing partners of the United Russia political party, party chairman Dmitry Medvedev said in his welcoming address to the participants and guests of the summit.
He added that agreements on interaction and cooperation have been concluded with these parties, and joint initiatives of the international anti-neocolonialist movement "For the Freedom of Nations!" are being implemented.
United Russia values interaction with African political forces, viewing the summit as a key step in the fight for independence and sovereignty, Medvedev said.
He added that African partners appreciate United Russia's support in defending their right to free development, and the party would continue to support such initiatives, contributing to a truly multipolar world.
