From Tractors to Degrees: How Are Russia & Ghana Growing Together?
In an interview with Sputnik Africa, Dr. Lawrence Awuku-Boateng, President of the Ghana-Russia Business Development Council, outlined key areas of Africa-Russia cooperation:
🟠"Great" machinery: Russia, along with Belarus, are successfully providing Africa with advanced farm machinery and agri-tech solutions.
🟠Education: Since 1960-s, Russia has trained generations of Africans, particularly Ghanaians. Today, Ghana receives over 130 Russian government scholarships annually.
"Ghana has been benefiting a lot from Russia. And Russia has been also benefiting from Ghana through cultural dimensions," Awuku-Boateng emphasized.
