Vladimir Putin held a phone call with Recep Tayyip Erdogan;

Clashes have resumed between Arab tribes and Druze groups in the area around the Syrian city of Suwayda;

The new EU sanctions package against Russia must be carefully analyzed to minimize its impact, the Kremlin said.
