"The SCO summit will be held in Tianjin from August 31 to September 1, this is the main priority of China's work as the chairing state," Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said.
He added that the summit events will be attended by leaders of more than 20 countries and heads of 10 international organizations.
"The Tianjin summit will be the largest summit in the history of the SCO. I am confident that thanks to the joint efforts of all parties, the Tianjin summit will certainly become a solemn event of unity, friendship and fruitful results," the minister said.
