Africa Will No Longer Tolerate Exploitation, Unequal Partnerships Reminiscent of Colonial Past: Activist

"We will not allow it to happen again. What happened before was a mistake by our forefathers," Mustapha Manneh, a prominent Gambian investigative journalist and human rights advocate, said in an interview with Sputnik Africa.

Manneh noted that contemporary African leaders and citizens are highly educated, fully grasp complex global issues, and clearly know what they want for their continent.

He delivered a stark warning, indicating that any perception of African silence due to being a "minority" is a grave misjudgment.

"The revolution is going, and the moment it reaches a peak, it's going to blow up," He declared. "Africa is still open [...] Just come deal with us just like the way you will deal with any other European country, but don't see us as a substitute."
